AllofUs were asked to help create ten interactive exhibits to sit within the exclusive new gallery at the Coolmore farm in County Tipperary, Ireland. The gallery takes visitors on a journey of discovery of the farm's history and rich heritage as well as educate about their current capabilities and the high standard of care given to their horses.
THE SETUP
The gallery consists of multiple touch-screen interactive exhibits, two interactive video walls, and a large centerpiece interactive table. Tours are by appointment only and are guided by a member of staff. All interactive exhibits were built using HTML5/javaScript/CSS with the help of libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, node.js, socket.io, and node-serialport.
MY ROLE
As technical lead on this project my responsibilities included developing software for the interactive exhibits, collaborating with the AV integrator to ensure a smooth install and delivery process, and liaising with the client to ensure their vision for the space was realized.
